Kieran Trippier appeared to be furious with teammate Anthony Gordon as Newcastle United took a 5-0 lead against Qarabag in the Champions League. Gordon scored four goals in the first half of Newcastle’s clash at the Tofiq Bahramov Stadium, with two coming from the penalty spot. Gordon had already scored from the spot earlier in the half, and was determined to do so again. The disagreement did not end there, with Trippier and Gordon having another lively conversation as the Newcastle players left the pitch at the half-time break. Newcastle made the trip to Azerbaijan to face Qarabag after finishing in 11th place in the league phase standings of the Champions League.
