A secret internal Labour analysis of the party's abject defeat in December's general election written by two Jeremy Corbyn loyalists avoided putting any blame on the humiliated leader, it was revealed today. But the document by the election co-ordinators, shared at a meeting of the party's National Executive Committee yesterday, found no fault with Mr Corbyn, 70, despite his five years as opposition leader. 'I haven't seen the report but I think none of us can be exonerated for the worst election defeat since 1935,' she told LBC radio. It accepted there were growing 'negative views' of the leader which were 'strongly affected by the Brexit crisis'. This allowed Labour to be 'unfairly painted' as part of an 'obstructive establishment thwarting the people's will', it continued.
