A meeting via video conference was held on Wednesday among the finance ministers of the Group of 20 (G20) nations and the central bank governors. The issue which was up for discussion in this session concerned how to deal with the financial difficulties arising out of the economic effects of COVID-19. This was the second meeting on G-20 finance matters which took place through video conferencing, which included Union Minister of Finance Nirmala Sitharaman. The finance minister complimented her Saudi counterpart for consistently working to deal with the coronavirus pandemic outbreak. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has also taken several steps, she detailed, to save the market economy and preserve credit flow.
