G4S said nine staff had been suspended pending further investigation in the latest scandal to hit the controversial firm. He said: “Brook House near Gatwick is just one of many detention centres in the UK. He said: “As independent and cross-party inquiries have stressed, there is an urgent need for a radical reduction in the use of immigration detention and a time limit on its use.
