Good luck to our minor hurlers who play Calry/St Joseph’s in the under-17 hurling shield championship final this weekend. The senior team retained Homeland Senior Championship status for 2023 in defeating Curry on a scoreline of 1-17 to 1-13. Well done to the St. John’s lads and hard luck to Geevagh who pushed us all the way. County GAA Chairman Sean Carroll presented our young Scór County and Provincial Novelty Act winners and All Ireland runners up with a beautiful specially commissioned award. For now we need to get slots filled, get the word out and get our amazing St Johns community behind this event.
