Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has claimed that his boss William Ruto will easily win a second term in 2027. ''The future of this country is in Ruto, the other side is full of darkness,'' the DP said. Gachagua thanked Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and National Assembly speaker Moses Wetang'ula for 'seeing light and crossing over to Ruto'' ahead of 2022 polls. ''We thank Musalia and Wetang'ula for seeing light and crossing over to work with Ruto. Western Kenya is perceived to be Raila's key stronghold with Kenya Kwanza determined to turn the tables on him ahead of the 2027 polls.
