Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Thursday hosted the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Zhou Pingjian. The meeting which took place at the DP’s official Residence in Karen was also attended by the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Secretary General Cleophas Malala. Gachagua said the meeting was aimed at discussing partnerships and strengthening the structures of UDA for posterity. “Strong political parties entrenched in firm ideals of good governance and development propel nations to prosperity,” Gachagua said. “The ruling CPC is a century-old political organisation whose leadership has propelled the country to economic prosperity.”Last month, Malala said UDA will be Kenya's largest political party by registration in 2027.
