Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Sunday extended his arm of compassion and threw a party for children in his Mathira home. In a statement, Gachagua said he was in his Nyeri home and being a rejuvenating Sunday, he decided to reconnect and interact with his neighbours. "Their simplicity and forthrightness is real and refreshing; it was a wonderful way to prepare for a busy and crucial week as our President William Ruto hosts the high-level Africa Climate Summit in Nairobi starting tomorrow (Monday)," he said.
