Much talk around the footballing world as of late has centered on Paris Saint-Germain’s second consecutive exit in the UEFA Champions League round of 16. Bayern Munich clinched a 3-0 aggregate win over PSG on Wednesday to advance to the quarterfinal round of the competition. As PSG manager Christophe Galtier touched on during a pre-match press conference ahead of the Ligue 1 away fixture against Brest, there has been a feeling of “disappointment” within the squad since its Champions League exit. “Right away in the locker room, obviously there was a lot of disappointment, anger too because you are in the excitement and disappointment,” Galtier said. “There is always a risk, but that’s what I was saying this morning to my players,” Galtier said.
