Geraldine man Paul Robins has built a huge shed to house his lifelong collection of memorabilia and vehicles. An interest that began as a boyhood pastime has ended in a Geraldine man opening his own museum. “I started 50 years ago pulling stuff out of the Sutherlands dump,” Paul Robins said. JOHN BISSET/Stuff The collection includes guns and vehicles, like this bren carrier which is on loan. “I’ve also got my father Eric Robins’ 1906 Darracq.”The museum, off State Highway 79 on the Geraldine-Fairlie highway, just outside Geraldine opened shortly before Christmas, with the name, Route 79 Museum.
