A work of art at this year's documenta exhibition - a piece that was also a functioning creche for parents and small children - could remain in the German city of Kassel if donations are forthcoming. The city, documenta, Museum Fridericianum and the artist called for donations for the purchase of the work Parents And Toddlers Creche / Public Daycare. Artist Graziela Kunsch set up the creche on the ground floor of the Fridericianum during documenta fifteen. The offer was accompanied by a photo exhibition, video work and the library of play. The artwork is to be bought for the price of €178,500 (RM839,000) the city of Kassel announced.
