German police offered a 10,000 euro ($12,400) reward Thursday for information about the killing of a 59-year-old homeless man who was found beheaded in the western city of Koblenz last week. "The perpetrator or perpetrators acted in an extraordinarily brutal and inhumane way," prosecutor Rolf Wissen told reporters. "It went so far that the victim's head was severed." Straten had last been seen alive a day before he was found, leading police to believe he was killed overnight. So far, police have interviewed more than 100 people but don't yet have a hot lead.
