HCM CITY — German soprano Katharina Kutsch and Finnish pianist Pauliina Tukiainen will perform in the concert “Underneath the Starry Sky” at the HCM City Opera House on Wednesday. The musicians will perform with soloists of the HCM City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO), including Cho Hae Ryong, Meritorious Artist Trần Hồng Vy, and Phạm Trang. Sopranos Phạm Khánh Ngọc and Phạm Duyên Huyên, and tenors Đào Mác and Phan Hữu Trung Kiệt will be featured as well. Kutsch has taught music at the University of Giessen and the Marburg Choirmaster School in Germany since 2003. Tukiainen studied piano in Finland and Germany with well-known artists Hartmurt Holl and Anne Le Bozec.
