Germany will host the 2029 Women’s European Championship after receiving the vast majority of the votes from Uefa’s executive committee. The decision came in the first round of voting, with 15 of the 17 votes going to Germany. Germany are record eight-time European champions and the 2029 tournament will come five years after the nation hosted the men’s competition.
