Quite a few parties in the Opposition have decided to boycott the midnight session on GST rollout tomorrow, expressing concerns over what the tax reform has in store for small traders and small and medium scale enterprises in particular. Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha said, "The Opposition's abstaining from the launch doesn't cast a shadow on GST. Midnight session because just as we achieved political freedom from the colonial oppressors, we have now achieved economic freedom from a patchwork of tax laws that existed previously to help in economic integration."
