Getting away with the purrfect crime

Getting away with the purrfect crimeA notorious drug smuggler in Sri Lanka is still at large after escaping from a high-security prison in early August. The suspect is described as being limber, with pleading eyes and feline. The cat was originally detained at Welikada Prison, carrying nearly two grams of heroin, two SIM cards and a memory chip in a small plastic bag tied around his neck. But despite reports of his escape from the prison room where it was kept by Sri Lankan media several weeks ago, no further updates on the feline fugitive have followed. Far from an isolated incident, police in July also brought in eagle which was allegedly used by drug traffickers to distribute narcotics in a suburb of Colombo.
