Partey was due to link up with his Ghana teammates ahead of their two Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sudan during the international break. But the 27-year-old will remain with Arsenal for treatment on his injury. ‘Arsenal have confirmed that the player picked up a minor sprain in his ankle and would require treatment in London,’ read a statement from Ghana’s FA on Wednesday. ‘He got around the pitch, he covered, he doubled up on the defending, he kept the lines very narrow.
