The Ministry further indicated that the Ghana Embassy in Burkina Faso is coordinating with local authorities to visit the site, collect details, and assist in identifying any affected Ghanaians. Titao, located in northern Burkina Faso, has repeatedly been the target of armed assaults and has faced threats from Islamist militants since 2019.
