AFTER Alaska lost a key player in Rodney Brondial a few days ago, it is Meralco's turn to get orphaned by a crack member in its rotation. Head coach Norman Black confirmed to The Manila Times that Nards Pinto, one of Meralco's dependable guards this season, has decided to transfer to Barangay Ginebra. "He went to Ginebra," said Black. Pinto will join a Gin Kings squad that needs to shore up its backcourt as Stanley Pringle is still on his way to recovery from a knee injury. We thank Nards for his service and we will keep moving with the guys that we have," added Black.
