Mark Giordano is up for the King Clancy Memorial Trophy. The Flames captain’s leadership in the locker room is well-documented. Among other things, he worked alongside the Flames Foundation on various initiatives while running a charitable program with his wife. The Team Giordano program partners with the Calgary Board of Education to provide resources to four low-income Calgary school. The three finalists for the King Clancy Memorial Trophy will be announced April 23, with the winner being announced at the 2019 NHL Awards on June 19 in Las Vegas.
