Cambridgeshire Police said the girl had been sat on a some swings when she was attacked in Peterborough by a five teenage boys on Saturday afternoon. The force said the assault at about 2pm at the recreation ground in Normanton Road was "completely unprovoked". Detective Constable Leeza Phillips said: "This was a shocking and completely unprovoked incident. "I would also be interested to hear from anyone who has private CCTV that may have captured the suspects arriving at the recreation ground or running away."
