The teenager was attacked in Chadderton Hall Park shortly after 9pm on Sunday. She was walking through the park when a man approached her and asked to use her phone, the Manchester Evening News reports. Detectives said the schoolgirl followed the man as he walked with her phone along a gravel path towards the river, where he then raped her.
