Officers identified a Ford Fiesta believed to be travelling in Horsforth, Leeds, with false plates shortly before 2pm on Friday. They followed the driver, but when he failed to stop, the incident resulted in a police chase. The girl was taken to hospital by ambulance where she was found not to have sustained any serious injuries. A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said a 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
