The organisation aims to reach out to vernacular or government-aided schools and make students aware of their rights. This was the first time that students of the school near Selimpur discussed sex, sexuality and intimate hygiene apart from self-defence. "Touch is important, we crave for it," she said before going on to explain when touch turns into abuse or invades privacy. Five students from nearby Haltu High School for Girls and Jadavpur Sammilita Balika Vidyalaya showed some karate moves under the guidance of Debabrata Haldar. The girls learnt how to save themselves if they were stopped on the road or if someone tried to hit them.
