A man who knew him said Adam had become enraged over loud noise and lack of sunlight in the room he had been staying in for three months. He said the attacker had said he planned to stab two people who he claimed were deliberately making noise in order to annoy him. "There was no daylight in his room and he was very angry. "He said that he was going to attack two guys in the room next to his because they're were making noise to deliberately annoy him." He had a conversation with hotel bosses at 9.30am on Friday, just hours before Adam launched the horror attack.
