ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has rejected claims made by former PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat regarding Aleema Khan allegedly seeking the party chairmanship or asking him to step down. Clarifying the matter, Gohar stated that Aleema Khan had never sent him any message asking him to resign from the chairmanship. The PTI chairman also said that Aleema Khan had never interfered in matters related to the party leadership. Barrister Gohar urged party members to refrain from making further controversial remarks and called for restraint in public discussions. She asked Barrister Gohar why he was weakening the issue of the founder’s vision, adding there is no person in PTI whom Aleema Khan has not criticised.
