Google Glass lives on on factory floors despite its consumer flame out. Google Glass Enterprise Edition 2 will have a better camera and longer battery life. Google’s suggested retail price for the new Glass Enterprise Edition 2 is $999, but its partners can tack on either a one-time fee for their modifications or an on-going subscription cost. Beyond the news of the new model, Google also announced that it’s moving Glass from Alphabet subsidiary X into Google proper. While Google declined to disclose how many customers Glass has, sales have not yet registered even a blip on the company’s earnings.
