Gourab claimed the first set by 21-16 points before Sibgat fought back in the second, winning 21-19. Gourab though had the last laugh, bagging the third and final set 21-16. Pabna’s Urmi Akhter though had no such problems in the women’s singles final, beating Bangladesh Army’s Brishti Khatun by straight sets. Urmi won the two sets 21-13 and 21-14.
