This breaks down as 15 cent per litre of petrol, 20 cent for diesel, and three cents for green diesel. Additionally, the National Oil Reserves Agency levy will be reduced from two cents per litre for two months. The fuel allowance will be extended by an additional four weeks, meaning 470,000 households will receive an additional support of 38 euros per week. Earlier, the Tánaiste did not rule out measures to reduce fuel consumption.
