State Minister for Labour and Employment Begum Monnujan Sufian inaugurated the helpline at a press conference held on Thursday at CIRDAP auditorium, said a press release. The state minister added that the committees will monitor the implementation of the wage structure and settle the issues related to job termination in line with the existing laws. The helpline will remain open for 24/7 so that the garments workers can make any complaints free of charge. The DIFE will operate the helpline and its number, 16357, will be exhibited in all factories.
