Fakhrul urged his party members to go to the people to mobilize support in favour of the party and its politics to strengthen BNP further. The BNP leader recalled Koko’s contribution to the country's sports sector and prayed for the salvation of his departed soul. He called upon BNP leaders and activists to get organized to free BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia from jail. On Thursday morning, BNP leaders and activists, led by Fakhrul, offered special prayers at Koko's grave in Banani graveyard, Dhaka.
