Photo: BSSDHAKA, April 11, 2026 (BSS)– Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapon today said the government will not allow any division among citizens based on religion, race, or gender and is committed to ensuring equal rights for all. Gournadi Christian Co-operative Credit Union Limited organized the reception on behalf of the Christian community from Gournadi and Agailjhara upazilas. The minister said those who attempted to dominate the state or society in the name of religion, do not uphold democratic practices. Speakers at the event expressed gratitude to the minister, saying Christians in Agailjhara have not faced persecution under his leadership.
