Addressing all reservations, it was decided that officers of all cadres would be consulted before finalising the reforms package. The previous PML-N government had also attempted to reform the civil services but it abandoned its plans. This is the latest attempt to reform the civil services. Meanwhile, the Task Force on Austerity Measures and Government Restructuring also held a meeting here.
