more-inThe government has decided not to contest the High Court order on Teachers Recruitment Test (TRT) and conduct the same based on 10 districts. Officials pointed out that Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari had made a statement in the Assembly that if the Court objects to TRT based on 31 districts the government would conduct the test as per the court orders. The government claimed that 31 districts formula was adopted to recruit more candidates in the schools falling in the backward districts and also Agency areas. Though number of posts will not change the court orders will open more opportunities for the aspirants as 31 districts formula restricted their chances due to fewer vacancies in some districts. The HC order will benefit candidates in some districts where vacancies were few.
