Photo: MinistryDHAKA, April 5, 2026 (BSS) - To ensure proper treatment for workers injured in the recent fire in Kadamtoli, Keraniganj and to support their families, Labour and Employment Minister Ariful Haque Choudhury provided special financial assistance. The minister handed over cheques of Taka one lakh each to the injured workers receiving treatment at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in the capital today. Initially, cheques were handed to the families of the affected workers Md Ashif and Md Jisan. While distributing the cheques, Minister Ariful Haque Choudhury said the government, under the direction of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, always stands by the working people.
