The government is set to roll out the final disbursement of the National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) programme in eight counties within the next two weeks. The funds will be disbursed to beneficiaries from Kilifi, Lamu, and Tana River counties on Thursday, February 5, in Kilifi. "The disbursement schedule for the first tranche of the Nyota Project Start-Up capital grant is now complete for the entire Nation," Mang'eni said. The beneficiaries will then be required to use the funds to start a business project, which will be closely monitored by the government. All beneficiaries of the project will participate in a two-month mentorship programme led by business development experts and local entrepreneurs.
