They are forced to turn to expensive private hospitals for medicare while funds meant for public hospitals are blatantly stolen. The financial hardship Kenyans suffer as they settle huge private medical bills is mostly brought on by corruption within the ministry. Then those who steal from public hospitals afford themselves better healthcare locally and abroad. Drastic measures are required to seal the loopholes that have been leaking public healthcare funds. The Health ministry is responsible for the death of millions of Kenyans from preventable diseases due to impunity.
