A majority of the awards were presented at the premiere ceremony, held before the telecast. Jon Batiste, the bandleader from “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” won five awards. The 19-year-old pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo won three, including best new artist and best pop vocal album.
