The Grand Mufti of Libya, Sheikh Al-Sadiq Al-Gharyani has condemned the massacre of Abyar town, describing it a heinous and horrific crime. In a statement on Sunday, the Mufti said the perpetrators of the crime do not carry the burden and the sins on their own, but even those who chose to remain silent or those who provided them with shelter or support shall bear the responsibility. He added that the UAE money and Saudi Arabia intelligence work are playing part of undermining security and stability in Libya, calling for an urgent need to put an end to the crimes of barbarism, murder, injustice, aggression, bloodshed and extrajudicial killings.
