However they later discovered that the motorist was former Top Gear host Hammond and he was filming for the Amazon Prime show. Hammond, 51, was filming in the quiet market town, which sits just 25 miles from his home in nearby Ross-on-Wye, for a segment of the fourth series of The Grand Tour for Amazon Prime Video. The scenes come just a week after Hammond and his fellow The Grand Tour crew mates Jeremy Clarkson and James May were spotted filming at Shires Retail Park in Leamington for their upcoming series. Max Morgan, who spotted the trio last week, told CoventryLive : 'I think they were filming for The Grand Tour.
