Roma have already seen a bid of €15m (£12.9m) turned down by Arsenal, who are holding out for an offer of closer to €20m (£17.2m) for the Swiss midfielder. ‘Football is a team sport & you’re only as good as your team,’ said Xhaka. ‘Of course I read the rumours too,’ he told Swiss publication Blick. ‘I have another two years on my contract in London and at Arsenal, they know what they have in me.
