UNIONDALE, N.Y. — Thomas Greiss made 31 saves in his fifth shutout of the season, helping the New York Islanders beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 2-0 on Monday night. Sergei Bobrovsky made 18 saves, but the Blue Jackets were unable to get to the steady Greiss. The Wild lost earlier to San Jose. Frederik Andersen allowed four goals on 19 shots before he was pulled early in the second period. Patrick Kane fired in his 41st goal as Chicago moved within five points of the second wild card in the Western Conference.
