MANILA, Philippines — Actress Gretchen Barretto is set to throw another thanksgiving party after the Pasig City Prosecutor’s Office junked the qualified theft complaint filed by Kris Aquino against her former aide Nicko Falcis. “Para ma iba sa FORBES ULIT ANG THANKSGIVING,” Gretchen told the social media user. Last February 22, the Makati Prosecutor’s Office dismissed the qualified theft complaint filed by Kris against Nicko for lack of probable cause. Gretchen threw a thanksgiving party for Nicko, but Kris’ former business partner was not present at the soiree. Gretchen sided with Nicko after she accused Kris of meddling in the alleged tax case of Alice Eduardo, who Gretchen alleged to have evaded millions in taxes through Aquino’s help.
