A group, National Youths Democratic Network (NYDN), on Thursday, asked the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to suspend the Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, from the party, over alleged anti-party activities. Adekunle Akinlade, by Amosun, was well enough for the national leadership to suspend him for anti-party activities. “It is absolutely laughable and against all known logic that Senator Ibikunle Amosun is holding on to the ticket of the APC to contest as Senator for Ogun Central Senatorial District while backing Hon. Akinlade from another political party to be governor of the state during the same election tenure. The political group asked the State House of Assembly to prevent the governor from borrowing money from any financial institutions at this point in time in the life of his (Amosun’s) administration.
