Gujarat government will impose a night curfew in Ahmedabad city from Friday amid a spike in COVID-19 cases, according to a top government official. The government official said on Thursday that a curfew will remain in place between 9 pm and 6 am from November 20 to control the spread of the virus. According to PTI, he is the Officer on Special Duty by the Gujarat Government to oversee Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation's coronavirus-related operations. Gujarat right now has 12456 active COVID-19 cases, and have so far recorded 3831 deaths. The highest single-day spike to date in the national capital with 8,593 cases was recorded on November 11.
