Residents of Fresco Apartments in Sector 50 fear disconnection of power lines, as the developer is yet to clear electricity bills for the month of June. The Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) provides a single point (bulk supply) connection to the Fresco developer, which, in turn, distributes it to individual flats. Fearing that their electricity connections could be snapped for non-payment of power bills, residents have urged the developer to clear the dues at the earliest. They claimed the builder runs up dues despite them paying their electricity bills days in advance. “We have prepaid electricity meters at Fresco and pay our power bills for every month in advance.
