A 36-year old man was arrested on Saturday night for allegedly killing his two minor daughters after a quarrel with his wife in New Palam Vihar. His neighbours said that Mahesh had threatened his wife saying he would kill his daughters if she left the house at night. Police said Mahesh worked as a stonecutter and polisher and had recently shifted to a semi-constructed house in New Palam Vihar with his wife and children. Inspector Shamsuddin, station house officer, Bajghera police station, confirmed that the accused had hit both the girls in a drunken state after a fight with his wife. “Yadav had frequent fights with his wife and on Saturday it took a tragic turn as he attacked his daughters with a brick and killed them.
