Perennial sewage overflow is turning out to be a major problem for around 150 factory owners at Industrial Development Colony. The owners said that the sewers and stormwater drains have not been cleaned in the last 10 years. They alleged that the drains overflow and flood internal roads, even after a short spell of rain. We have sent letters to subdivisional engineers, executive engineers, superintending engineers, chief engineer, joint commissioner and the commissioner of MCG. We have apprised them all of the overflow problem,” said Dharam Sagar, a factory owner.
