On April 10, Green Line paid Tk5 lakh to Russel, and the court allowed it one month's time to pay the remaining Tk45 lakh. On March 31, the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court upheld the High Court order that had asked Green Line Paribahan authorities to give Tk50 lakh as compensation to Russel. On April 28 in 2018, a Green Line coach rear-ended the car Russel was driving.
