Jimmy Cherizier, a powerful Haitian gang leader who has reigned terror in the past two weeks, on Wednesday, March 13, warned other countries against interfering in the country's affairs amid the chaos. Additionally, the gang leader questioned the motive of the international support, noting that each country seeks to defend its interests on such matters. The deployment has, however, been put on hold temporarily following Prime Minister Ariel Henry's resignation. Cherizier further dismissed Ariel Henry's move to resign as Prime Minister, noting that the fight for freedom is still on. We will continue the fight for Haiti's liberation," the gang leader noted.
